Google Web Accelerator

Just discovered an attempt from Google to enhance the web experience - a web accelerator. I wonder if anybody can confirm if they developed this themselves, or if they bought another third party app.

Newsvine: Useful Content or Rushed Imitations?

I have used Newsvine actively for several days now, and I have a major concern about the usefulness of the site. The concern is best explained through a scenario I have experienced several times over the last 48 hours: the flow of news from the original author to myself.

Professional forger can't spell?

An apparently skilled forger from Pakistan produces a quite convincing passport: "The passport looked perfect and professionally made." How exactly is it humanly possible to pay as much attention to a document as is required to accurately forge it, but not see which letters actua

Addicting vs Addictive

A great blog entry that accurately summarizes a pet peeve of mine: misuse of the word "addicting." The proper adjective is "addictive," whereas "addicting" is a transitive verb, as in "the act whereby an agent addicts a user."
